ABOUT OUR AREA
Norris Lake was created in 1936 by the construction of the first-ever dam built by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Since then, it has become a major attraction: its lake properties, fine dining, marinas, hiking, camping, and various other activities have kept people from around the country coming back to our area for over 70 years.
The Campbell County area also has much to offer, with its gorgeous scenery and entertainment opportunities. Our own Cove Lake State Park is a great place to take the family, and is located in Caryville, a short distance away from exit 134. Other area attractions include shopping, dining, camping, and local marinas and cabin rentals. Come see a beautiful landscape and friendly people when you choose the Norris Lake area as your next vacation spot!
